Strictly necessary storage (functional)

These items are needed for the website and portal to work and are stored on your device using browser localStorage, not cookies. Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act no consent is required for strictly necessary storage.

• Cookie preference: when you make a choice in our cookie banner, we store that choice in localStorage (key “cookie-consent-v1”) for up to 12 months, so we do not ask again.
• Sign-in session: if you log in to our secure client or investor portal, our authentication provider stores your session token in localStorage so you stay logged in. This applies only to logged-in users of the portal, not to ordinary website visitors.

Analytics: Plausible

We use Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how our website is used (for example page views). Plausible is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool: it sets no cookies, does not store information on your device, does not collect personal data for cross-site tracking, and processes data within the EU.

Although Plausible is cookieless, we load it only after you have accepted analytics in our cookie banner. You can withdraw your choice at any time, after which the analytics script is no longer loaded.

Fonts

The website's display fonts are hosted on our own domain. No request is made to a third-party font service such as Google Fonts, so no data is shared with such a provider when the fonts load.

Embedded third-party content

The website does not embed third-party content such as video players, maps, booking widgets or social-media widgets that would set cookies or collect data. Outbound links to third-party websites (for example LinkedIn) are plain hyperlinks; once you follow such a link, the third party's own privacy and cookie policies apply.

Managing your choices

On your first visit a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics. Strictly necessary and functional storage is always active and cannot be switched off, as the site cannot function without it.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the button below, or via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also delete stored data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for destartupaccountant.nl.

Hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs for security and availability, and does not set cookies on our website. Because Netlify may process data outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Netlify also loads a small script on each page that measures how quickly the page renders and sends those page speed measurements to Netlify. This script stores no information on your device: it sets no cookies and writes nothing to browser storage. For that reason it does not require consent under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, and it is not switched off when you decline analytics. The data it sends is technical and is processed by Netlify as our processor.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, social-media tracking pixels, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, the Meta or Facebook pixel, the LinkedIn Insight tag, or any other cross-site tracking technology.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice if the website functionality changes, for example if the analytics setup changes or embedded content such as a booking tool is introduced. In that case we will implement the appropriate consent mechanism and update this notice. The current version and its date are shown at the top of this page.
